My professional focus primarily centers on fashion, branding, and marketing. As someone with a curious nature who likes to explore various art forms, it’s challenging to describe what I do in just a few words (a challenge I know many of you share).
I began my career at Max Mara in Italy, which is where I grew up. After relocating to the United States, I quickly immersed myself in the fast-paced world of large corporations like Macy's and Amazon, relocating from New York to Los Angeles. My experience as a fashion buyer has been “unconventional”; after progressively advancing in my corporate career, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with fashion start-ups linked to these Fortune 500 companies.
There was a moment during a meeting with an architectural firm when I found myself thinking, "What am I doing here?" Nevertheless, the partnership focused on developing an interior design for a beauty apothecary inside a generous 20,000 square foot standalone store in Dallas proved to be fruitful. While it’s not your typical buyer experience—something I'm grateful for—it allowed me to discover that I genuinely appreciate being involved across all areas of the business.
My deep curiosity for what lies ahead, extending beyond just fashion, sharpens my intuitive ability to foresee trends and shifts within the industry. With a strong inclination towards visual aesthetics and an attentive eye, I am always on the hunt for inspiration and connection. An illustration of this is FUTURE NOSTALGIA, which embodies the spirit of the humanoid aesthetic that started to pre-peak in 2018. It blends advanced fashion constructions with a nostalgic charm, creating a vibe that feels both forward-looking and familiar. Kandi 2.0, whom you'll have the pleasure of meeting later, is a standout in this movement, featuring vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and a playful yet delicate style that continues to resonate with many today.
Bella Baxter's wardrobe in “Poor Things” beautifully showcases this aesthetic. Each ensemble narrates its own tale, intertwining elements of historical influences with imaginative glimpses into the future. The selection of fabrics, designs, and arrangements presents a captivating visual experience that invites viewers to appreciate the artistry and thoughtfulness embedded in every piece. Ranging from cutting-edge shapes to minimal shorts—much like a child who neglects to dress properly—her wardrobe embodies the essence of Kandi 2.0.

Fueled by my enthusiasm for retail innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit, I have broadened my role to become a fashion advisor dedicated to creatively assisting both established and emerging brands. My goal is to help these brands articulate their identity, navigate their market, and foster growth, while simplifying the complexities of the fashion system. I concentrate on supporting key strategic initiatives, launching new products, optimizing bestsellers, and promoting seasonal campaigns, along with performing market trend analysis and sourcing efforts. After collaborating with Italian manufacturers, I have come back to Italy, where I advocate for retail strategies that highlight the significance of craft-forward and Made in Italy elements, while also retaining a modern approach—rooted by my deep appreciation of design integrity.
My background encompasses a deep understanding of fashion dynamics in both the US and Italian markets, supported by a degree in fashion marketing. I strive to stay informed and actively involved in our swiftly changing landscape, even amidst the challenges. This digital space serves as my sanctuary—a place where I share insights gained from conversations, advice from peers and mentors, and reflections on the environment that surrounds us.
